Please allow us 72 hour (three working days), to process your medication request.
We do not accept repeat medication requests over the phone.
Ordering a Repeat Medications
You can order your repeat medication in one of three ways:
- Request online – via the NHS app
- Nominated Pharmacy – Ask your nominated Pharmacy to order it for you
- Complete an online request via our website
The quickest way for you to request your medication is via the NHS app.
We can support you with getting access to this if you need further assistance.
When you order medication online, you can have it sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This is called a nomination.
Medication Prepayment Information
Medication Prepayment Certificates are available to purchase. These allow patients to get as many medications as you need for a set price. If patients have two or more regular medications, then they will save money.

Medication Charges and Exemptions
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS medication and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).
The NHS Medication charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Medication prepayment certificates offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
When going abroad you can take your NHS medications with you.
Please visit the NHS website for the latest Medication Charges
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales medications are free of charge.
