About Us

About North Wood Group Practice

North Wood Group Practice is a vibrant, modern general practice caring for patients in the South London boroughs of Lambeth and Croydon. Our team aim to provide excellent health care when you’re feeling unwell, along with pro-active help and advice to help and promote wellbeing for all of our patients.

The Practice is made up of two branches; North Wood at Crown Dale (SE19 3NY) and North Wood at Tulse Hill (SW2 3DX). Our teams work across both branches. As a patient you can attend either branch, or if you prefer attend only one.

The Practice is made up of male and female doctors, a nursing and HCA (Health Care Assistant) team and Pharmacists. Further, the Practice has Dieticians, Physiotherapists and Social Prescribers also as part of the team.

North Wood at Crown Dale re-opened in January 2023, following significant extension and refurbishment. This new environment provides state of the art primary care facilities, expanded space and includes a meeting room facility that will enable a broader range of service provision for patients.

With the expanded facilities North Wood Group Practice aims to develop into a community hub providing a wide range of services focussing on the full spectrum of health and wellbeing.

Services such as Gardening Club, Walking and Talking Club and Indian Head Massage (free) are all now available. We are planning other services coming soon, such as Tai Chi and Breastfeeding Support.

Medical Trainees are a key part of our team, the Practice currently has GP and Pharmacist trainees. Providing training is integral to the mission of the Practice. Patients therefore may be seen by post-graduate trainees at a variety of levels, or by medical students. All trainees are fully supervised by Educators within the Practice.
